If you’re looking for some solid iPhone apps to download, you may be interested to know that Apple has just released a list of its all time most popular applications, as determined by number of downloads. They have segmented the list into two sections, one for the “all time top paid applications” and one for the “all time top free applications”.

So which apps top the popularity list? The non paid apps list contains no real surprises, as Facebook is the most frequently downloaded app, with Google Earth, Pandora Radio, Tap Tap Revenge and Shazam following in order.

For the all time top paid apps we see Crash Bandicoot in the first place, followed by Kio Pond (a personally favorite of mine which goes for only 99 cents) Enigmo, Bejeweled 2 and iBeer. They’re all solid apps, so if you are in the market to expand your collection you should find something interesting in the bunch.
