Things sure move fast at Apple, don’t they? The company just today announced that they will be holding a conference on Tuesday to show off new software for their next iPhone release, the iPhone 3.0. The event will take place at Apple headquarters in Cupertina CA, and will no doubt be widely covered by every tech blogger who can score a press pass.

The iPhone 3G was only just released in the summer, and has been another runaway success for the creators of the Mac. They have sold almost fourteen million iPhone 3G phones already, and provided over 15000 applications for users of the device to download.
