CBS Sports Mobile has, much to the delight of many iPhone carrying NCAA fans, brought out a March Madness On Demand application program for the Apple iPhone as well as the iPod Touch. The app is designed to closely follow the NCAA’s college hoops tournament, March Madness. It’s feature include the ability to stream broadcasts of the games in real time through Wi-Fi, as well as audio play by play for those with an EDGE or 3G connection.

As well as the aforementioned features, the new application will provide live scores of in progress games, as well as player statistics, news feeds, game recaps and video summaries, and my personal favorite game highlights.

So when does it all begin? The app will start to cover the games from March nineteenth until the end of the tournament which should be April sixth. And how much does it cost? The app is selling for a meager $4.99 USD, pocket change for any true NCAA fan.
