While it’s pretty much a given that the next generation iPhone will be released this summer, Apple has not yet come forward and released the specs for us all to gawk over. However, that’s not stopping mad speculation across the blogosphere, and the rumors are really starting to fly.

So what are people saying? Well, pretty much every rumor out there agrees on a few things. Firstly, the next gen iPhone should feature a low powered chip which will provide both WiFi access, and support blue tooth functionality. As well, it looks like the next gen iPhone will finally be getting a camera, of 3.2 mega pixels. The lack of a camera has thought to be the reason for the iPhone’s lackluster sales in some countries, such as Japan, and should go a long way toward remedying those sales figures if indeed included.

Both of these features sound great, but we’ll have to wait for Apple’s word to know for certain what’s being included in the next iPhone release.
